Here's a few pictures.  Yes, he's really a Marine.  Yes, he's really mine.  This year he'll get that final hash mark and finally belong to ONLY me.

    Hmm, I can't remember when this was.  His
third trip to the middle-east, this picture was
taken in Kuwait.  They left a few days after the
official start of OIF.  That time was only 4 1/2
months overseas, but seemed worse than
his longer tours because we had so little
communication.

    October 2005 - MCRD San Diego.  We had
the opportunity to walk around MCRD a bit.  
Instructors kept stopping us for ID to make
sure we weren't some recruit's parents!

the same thing every Marine says when they
get back on those yellow footprints.... "The
last time I stood here, 19 years ago, I had
